Key ingredients:
Candelilla wax – Originates from the leaves from the candelilla shrub that is native to Mexico and the southwestern United States. It is hard, has a pleasant scent and is slightly transparent. Candelilla wax is an excellent vegan substitute for beeswax in lip balms and salves.

Shea butter – Extracted from the nut of the African shea tree. It melts at body temperature and is readily absorbed into the skin without leaving a greasy residue.
